Coach Jason grew up playing hockey in Barnstable, including 4 years at Cape Cod Tech. He has been coaching hockey in the Barnstable area for the past 7 years and runs on and off ice player development programs during the summer.
Coach Wood's energy for hockey is unmatched. He brings an enthusiasm to help grow the game on Cape Cod in a fun, energetic, and competitive environment that aligns well with the Seahawks mission and goals.
Luke grew up on Cape Cod and was involved in ice hockey from an early age.
He played for Provincetown High School varsity starting in 7th grade and served as captain beginning in his freshman year. He was also an All-Star each of those years.
After graduating from high school, he played a season for the Boston Junior Bulldogs, after which he was recruited by Fitchburg State. He played four years at FSC and was named captain in his senior year.
After graduation from FSC, Luke was an assistant coach for the Harwich/Provincetown high school hockey team. He was the head coach for the mite team at Lower Cape Hockey in 2018 and he assisted the YD mites in 2019.

Coach Martin, a native of Western Mass, played youth hockey throughout Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut where he developed his passion and love for the game. Being from a small town with no high school hockey team he chose to attend prep school at Wilbraham and Monson Academy where he played varsity for four years while being named captain in his senior year.
After prep school, Coach Martin attended Western New England College where he played four years at the Division III NCAA level while being named co-captain in his senior year.
Coach Martin later made his move to Cape Cod, with his wife Lisa, to start his career and family while settling in the Harwich area. He has been coaching youth hockey with his sons William and Colin on Cape Cod for the last five years.
We are excited to have his contagious passion for hockey and love of player development. Coach Martin aligns well with the desire to grow and keep talent on Cape Cod and we look forward to seeing him behind the bench again this season.
Coach Calhoun hails from Tulsa, OK. As a player he tallied just as many PIMs as he did Points making him a force to be reckon with. After lacing up as the team Captain for the Bismark Bobcats in the NAHL, Calhoun committed to UMASS Boston in the ECAC-E where he would also be named team Captain during his 4 year tenure.
His playing career would later bring him to Cape Cod with the now defunct Cape Cod Bluefins in the FHL.
Brett has been behind the bench for multiple local programs since 2015 including, Defensive Coach for the Barnstable HS Varsity team, Coach for YD Hockey and recently, Assistant Coach with the Seahawks Development and 2013 Elite teams.
As a coach his focus is on player development, which includes positive player mindset (on and off the ice), discipline, skills, work ethic, teamwork, and positional play. He believes that youth players should have a positive atmosphere to learn and develop their game, through hard work and a team first environment, while still having fun.
His outlook and ability to build relationships with the kids is evident both on and off the ice making him an invaluable part of our staff.
