(EHL) Detcheverry Commits to Framingham State

Forward Alexis Detcheverry of the Seahawks Hockey Club has officially committed to Framingham State University, where he will join the Rams for the 2025-2026 season.

A native of Newfoundland, Canada, the 2004-born forward joined the Seahawks partway through his rookie campaign last year. Detcheverry made a strong postseason impression by netting his first EHL goal and followed up this season with two goals and eight assists over 39 regular season games. In total, he wrapped up his time with the Seahawks with three goals and ten assists across 61 appearances.

“We’re thrilled to see Alexis take this next step in his career,” said Seahawks Head Coach Bill Zaniboni. “Adjusting to a new country and league is no small task, but he handled it with patience and determination. He never stopped asking questions, always eager to learn and grow. He was incredibly versatile for us during the second half of the season—always willing to play whatever position we needed. He’s a team-first guy with a great attitude and comes from a strong family. We’re excited that he’ll be staying nearby for college.”

Detcheverry is the latest Seahawk to commit to Framingham State, joining teammates Jeremy Zecher and EHL All-Star goaltender Isak Saldjoughi.

“I’m beyond excited to start this new chapter at Framingham State,” Detcheverry said. “I wouldn’t be here without the unwavering support and sacrifices of my family—they’ve been my foundation through everything. I also want to thank Coach Zaniboni, Coach Richard, Coach Ellerton, and everyone involved with the Seahawks organization for believing in me and helping me grow over the past two years. A special thank you to Coach Bailey as well—his trust in me has played a huge role in getting me to this point. I’m truly honored to join the Rams and can’t wait for what’s ahead, both on and off the ice.”
