Seahawks Welcome Coach Gustin
The Seahawks Hockey Club is proud to announce the addition of Coach Seth Gustin as the new Assistant Coach for both our EHL and EHLP teams.
Coach Gustin brings an impressive blend of professional playing experience and dynamic leadership to our organization. His coaching career began with a standout debut during the 2021–2022 season, when he guided the Lumberjacks to the EHL Frozen Finals in his very first year behind the bench—a testament to his ability to inspire and elevate his players to perform at their highest level.
Before transitioning to coaching, Seth played over 100 professional games in the Federal Hockey League (FHL), earning a roster spot with the Carolina Thunderbirds as a free agent after college. His on-ice impact helped the Thunderbirds secure the FHL Championship in the 2018–2019 season.
Seth’s foundation in the game was built at Niagara University, where he competed for four seasons (2013–2017) with the ACHA team. A natural leader, he served as team captain from his sophomore year through graduation. Under his leadership, the Purple Eagles captured three NECHL championships and made a memorable run at the ACHA National Tournament.
Off the ice, Seth has demonstrated a strong commitment to giving back to the hockey community through youth camps and private training. His passion for player development and character building aligns perfectly with the Seahawks’ mission. As he joins our coaching staff, Coach Gustin is dedicated to helping our athletes grow as both elite players and impactful individuals in their communities.
Please join us in welcoming Coach Seth Gustin to the Seahawks family!
